Homebrewed storytelling Tailored to you

Fantasy

The more mature of my two settings, Initia is a fully fleshed out fantasy world that draws from 5E and Draw Steel. You can expect politics, dungeons, mages, swords, and more. Read about my Initia setting at it's wiki, located here.

SCi-fi

As yet unnamed, my sci-fi setting is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Inspired by Dune, Mass Effect, and many others this setting finds the heroes fighting alongside a galactic community of classic fantasy races now spacefaring.

Both settings will eventually feature full wikis. Both settings already have fully supported character creators which include the custom content inside the Draw Steel app.

Who am I?

Hi, my name is Zette but my normie friends call me Nathan. I cut my teeth like many a DM on Matt Colvile's 'Running the Game' series in 2017.

Ever since that day I finally convinced some of my friends to play I've been the man behind the table for at least one session a month if not more. It wasn't long after starting my first campaign (which had six players and met weekly! CRAZY!) that I discovered I wanted more than what Hoard of the Dragon Queen was offering me. So I started writing my own story loosely based on the module and it was... rough. Thankfully I've had years of practice since and my writing has certainly improved. Tabletop RPGs have become a staple creative outlet for me in my life, an awesome chance to blend both my background in the arts and in technology.Speaking of, around 2019 I switched to entirely virtual. I had met many amazing players since I had started from all sorts of different places and so it only made sense to transition to the one venue that could support us all: the internet. We tooled around with several VTTs before discovering an awesome combination of D&D Beyond and Foundry VTT. As the tools and my DM'ing have continued to improve I have only grown in my love for the game and my desire to share my work with more players.

Testimonials

I have played with Nathan across multiple campaigns and cannot recommend him enough, especially if you are new to VTTG or DND. When you choose to undergo a campaign, you can expect to be engaged in imerserive world where your voice is heard, and your character's actions affect the campaign's narrative.- Jonathan C

Nathan is probably the most exhaustively prepared DM I've ever played with. I was in a group of difficult players, and he handled them like a champ. 10/10, no notes.- Kyle B

I've played many sessions with this DM now. In addition to the basic things you'd expect from an experienced DM, the main things that kept me coming back were his ability to craft compelling stories in rich and detailed worlds, both in the D&D universe and in his own homebrewed worlds. Highly recommend.- Phil M
